Administrative Buildings

The Lang House houses administrative offices for the School of Health and Human Services, which is comprised of communication disorders, exercise science, marriage and family therapy, nursing, public health, recreation, tourism, and sport management, and social work. Most Department of Public Health faculty and administrative offices are located in Orlando House, also on Farnham Ave.

As home to the University Police and Health Services offices, Granoff Hall keeps a pulse on the safety and security of students, faculty, and staff on campus. Police personnel has increased to a present level of 27 police officers to mitigate public safety concerns and provide proactive training and informational sessions, inlcuding the Citizens Police Academy. The Student Health Center provides cost-effective quality health care and health teaching and promotes responsible health habits. The health care professionals assist other departments and support university programs in creating a welnessl environment for living, learning and working.

Office Building 1, or OB-1 (kenobi), serves as homebase for the Division of Institutional Advancement, which inludes the SCSU Alumni Association, Annual Giving Office, Community Outreach, the Development Office and Integrated Communications & Marketing. The building also houses faculty offices for the Department of Recreation, Leisure Studies and Sports Management and Public Health.
